After our second post about Encircle, the company had to focus on training. This took a lot of time and effort. We are pleased to have an active PMP (Project Management Professional) on staff. Now we can get focused on the site, and working to get it live for the public to use. As of today the site has integrated payment, weather data pulls via JSON, geo location and tracking, and finally WordPress integration.
Much has been learned over the past few months. This project has definitely forced us to grow in our knowledge of programming. On the other hand we have been able to utilize knowledge we have garnered from other projects. In other development projects we have worked on, we have implemented encryption and this project was no different. All PI/PII (Personally Identifiable Information) data is encrypted with AES256 bit encryption. This was the base of the project. Making sure your data is secure, and working to give you total control of it. Later in the development phase there will be a transparency page giving you incite into what we maintain and what kinds of controls you have over that data.
The plan is to have a personal and business version of the site. The first step is to create the personal side of the site. The first aspect of the personal side is a basic dashboard for users to land on. This will give a user an overview of important information they may want to see on a single page. From there we will branch out and start building the core features. These features include, but are not limited too, Emergency Plan Builder, Contact Manager, and Asset Manager. These will all be a part of the ABR Suite (Always Be Ready).
Feed back on what users would want to see from the site would be super helpful and much appreciated. We are focused on supporting you as much as we can through difficult situations. So please reach out.
Thanks!
P.S. “We” is Me, and I am just speaking to the eventual growth of the company 🙂
